Swatch and Review of Zoya: Chita

Hello! I am sorry I haven't posted for a few days, my husband and I went camping! We have been wanting to go to Crater Lake for a while now and Labor Day weekend was the perfect excuse. Camping is really hard on your nails, so I thought I would go with just a plain textured polish this time. Zoya Chita is a forest green textured polish from their PixieDust line. It has a lot of gorgeous sparkle! I took the photos below in our camp site in full sun.

The glorious Crater Lake and my nails. This view is from Discovery Point along the rim. I can't express how gorgeous it is there!

I only needed two coats for the photos. For the most part my nails lasted well throughout the 4 days. I had some chips but I expected that. These nails lasted through a lot. I think chopping wood was what did the most damage though! We did a lot of hiking and even took a trail down to the lake and actually were able to get in! I loved it there! I was surprised at how well the Zoya lasted, it also was really easy to apply, no formula issues to speak of. I highly recommend it!

  1. I love the pixie dust polishes but this one I'm on the fence with. It's darker than the others I own and I'm just not loving it. Your swatches are great though. And I'm glad you enjoyed your camping trip. Looks like a beautiful place to stay and relax.

  2. I haven't picked up any Pixie Dusts yet since I'm not that into textured polishes, but this one is so pretty! And that view! Wow - looks like an amazing place to go camping. Last time I went camping, my beautifully shaped and perfect length nails all died a tragic death on me lol!

  4. It is a great color! We actually were able to hike down to the lake and swim in it, which was amazing. I can check that off the bucket list now!

  5. I must admit, I had a couple of bad breaks, but they were so worth it to camp at Crater Lake. I love it there! I really love the textured polishes and they wear so well!

  6. I love dark colors, so this is right up my alley. I can see how it might not be everyone's cup of tea though. It was a gorgeous place to relax and reflect.

  12. It took my breath away. We stayed up and watched the sunset and waited for the stars to come out one night, it really is a place everyone should experience at least once.

  13. Textured polishes are really hard to remove, but I think it is worth it. I had a hard time getting into the trend at first. I love it there!
