Born Pretty Store Review: Water Decals

Press Sample

I have another Born Pretty Store review for you! I have some adorable water decals, which I was ecstatic to receive, even though the theme is more winter than summer. I loved the deer and the trees! It reminds me of those leggings that were super popular this last year. Since it isn't winter I was trying to figure out how to still use these in a summery way, and this is what I came up with. I started with a base color of Rimmel London 60 Seconds in Caramel Cupcake, then I used the purple tribal print stripes and placed them on one side of my nail. I waited for the decal to dry in place and then I added a stripe of Sally Hansen Insta-dri Pronto Purple and dots of Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Luminous Tulips.

I really loved how these turned out! The decals applied great and were very easy to work with. I have heard that water decals get a bit finicky when you apply top coat, so be sure to be extra careful when you do add the top coat. Again, you can find these water decals online here, it is sheet C063. I would say, if you are trying to re-create this design in particular, you will need two sheets, I don't think they are meant to be used length-wise and I didn't have enough of this particular pattern to do both nails. I really loved the patterns this came with and how easy they were to apply. I cannot wait until it is seasonally appropriate to put deer on my nails! What do you think? Do you like this look? Will you be purchasing? I sound like a broken record, but if you want 10% off any order, you can use my code: HANDX31. There is always worldwide free shipping on any order, but it takes about two weeks for the product to reach me in the Pacific NW. I think the site has some fantastic deals, it is definitely worth taking a look. Hope you liked this post, and thanks for reading!
