Christmas Nail Art: Christmas Tree, Candy Cane, and Gingerbread

I created some festive Christmas nail art to correspond with my post about Old Factory candles in the Happy Holidays Collection, and I wanted to share more photos and details about them!

Christmas Trees were inspired by the ugly Christmas sweaters, but I actually think they are cute. These of course, are really inspired by fair isle knitting and some Scandinavian prints that you see at Christmas time. I used a base of Palate Polish (review coming soon) and hand painted the white designs in acrylic paint and the gold in Maybelline Bold Gold. 

Candy Canes were what I wore for Christmas day last year. I alternated it a little bit this year though. I first panted China Glaze White On White on my middle, ring finger and thumb, and Ruby Pumps on my pointer and pinky fingers. I then created stripes with the opposite color and added a stripe of China Glaze Silver Lining for some sparkle.

Finally, for the gingerbread look, I painted China Glaze Lug Your Designer Baggage and added some frosting drips in an off white Color Club Mod in Manhattan. 

I love Christmas and all the fun nail designs that come of it! I feel like I never have enough time to do all the designs I have in my head, and hopefully I can squeeze in a few more before Christmas day actually comes. I hope you like these!
