Gabriel Cosmetics ColorBLOCKade Collection

Press Sample

Gabriel Cosmetics sent me the full Color BLOCKade collection to swatch and review. I was enthusiastic about trying it out, as I have not had the opportunity to try Gabriel before. These polishes are 5 free and the brand is cruelty free, vegan, gluten free, and NPA certified natural. There are five colors in this collection: Petrol Blue, Holiday Red, Golden Yellow, Raspberry, and Cashmere. All of the photos below were taken without top coat.

Petrol Blue is a beautiful purple toned blue creme. I would never call it a purple, but it does have a bit of purple hue in it. I don't think it is quite a blurple either. This applies so nicely and I only used one coat here! One coat! It has great control.

Holiday Red is a very bright red with subtle gold shimmer. This has a little thinner formula than the others, and the shimmer doesn't translate to the nail as strong as in the bottle. I used three coats here.

Golden Yellow is a glorious gold toned yellow. In the photos below, I used two coats which was wonderful to apply!

Raspberry is a magenta color which also applies gloriously. Two coats of perfection here.

Cashmere, I am in love. Despite the plainness of this color, there is something subtle and pretty about this. I used two coats and the formula was really nice, like all the others. I have a difficult time with nude colors, but this one was unexpectedly nice.

All of these colors have a fantastic formula, I was really impressed with the quality of Gabriel Cosmetics. The names weren't punny like other brands I love, but the formula is phenomenal. I highly recommend picking up any of these colors for your collection! I think that Golden Yellow is my favorite out of them all, I just can't get over how beautiful it is.

You can buy Gabriel Cosmetics from their website: GabrielCosmetics.com for $8.50/bottle.

  2. Beautiful swatches. I like raspberry the best but I have a soft spot for pink polishes. Bummer about the thinner formula and hard to see shimmer in Holiday Red.

  11. Great swatches! I'm especially impressed by the yellow, not only that it is opaque in two coats, but also the fact that you pull off the tone so well!
