Work Wear Wednesdays: Inspired by The Nail Boss

Today, I have another installment of Work Wear Wednesdays! This week, I have something inspired by an artist I love. Have you ever heard of the Nail Boss? If not, you need to check him out on Instagram! He has 148K followers for a good reason. He does some really amazing work and he doesn't use polish! I think he is using acrylic, but what he does it way more advanced than my nail vocabulary. Just go check him out, I promise, you will love him. I spotted an image on his account a long time ago and I can't get it out of my head, so I attempted to re-create it for Work Wear Wednesdays. It has just the right amount of neutral and glitter!

For this look I used China Glaze I'm Not Lion, Zoya Cho and Spencer. I also used some painters tape.

1. Paint two layers of I'm Not Lion.
2. Place tape diagonally and paint on Cho.
3. Remove tape while the polish is still wet.
4. Arrange tape in the opposite diagonal direction.
5. Paint on Spencer.
6. Remove tape while it is still wet, let it dry and apply top coat!

It is a really simple look, but the Nail Boss makes it look so amazing! I think it is a great look and so work appropriate because of the nude colors over the glitter. You could use any variation of colors, but if you are a bit apprehensive about using so much (holo!) glitter at work, you could change it for a metallic tone polish instead of a full on glitter.

I apologize for all the inconsistent lighting lately. After we moved I realized out new place doesn't quite have an outdoor spot to take photos like our last place did, so I am trying out different things. I think I am getting closer, but this is still a work in progress!

I hope you like this post! Will you be re-creating any of the Nail Boss' designs? They are so beautiful, and amazingly well done, it is difficult not to love them. Thanks for reading!
