Zoya Matte Velvets! I think these are famous by now, and I am late in posting them, but wow, what a collection! These matte velvets were released a while ago and were re-released by popular demand. They have rich, jewel tones and a matte finish. I picked up five of the six colors, only because my stores didn't have the sixth. I don't know the official inspiration for the names, but they all seem to be famous models. There are a ton of pictures in this post, so I will just dive right in and have an overview at the end.
With gloss top coat:
Posh is a beautiful red which is perfect for the holidays.
With gloss top coat:
Verushka is an evergreen color that isn't too dark nor too light.
With gloss top coat:
Dovima is a gunmetal grey with a darker hue.
With gloss top coat:
Harlow is a really interesting pink/purple.

I loved all of these! Not just liked, but loved! I loved them in their matte and gloss versions. There is shimmer in all of these that is more pronounced when the gloss top coat is added, but the subtlety of the matte finish is just stunning. All of these needed only two coats and have the same Zoya formula we all know and love. They take a little longer to dry if you want them to remain matte, otherwise you can just add top coat for a different look. Seriously, these are so stunning in real life. I can't pick a favorite of the bunch, but Verushka is one that I heard rave reviews about. I hope you enjoy these as much as I did! Thanks for reading!
You wear mattes so well!
ReplyDeleteGreat swatches! I really love this collection (and I need to swatch the rest of them at some point...I've only ever taken pics of Verushka and Posh).
ReplyDeleteThose two might be my favorites! I love them all though.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love matte polish!
