Born Pretty Store Water Decal Review

Press Sample

Today I have a sort of value added mani! Those were words I never thought I would string together. I upgraded the mani I posted yesterday and added some water decals! The Born Pretty Store also sent me some beautiful rose decals to review, so I have those to share with you today. These cost $2.86 a set and are pretty simple to use. I really like the addition of them to take any mani to the next level.

Here is what they look like after they have soaked in water and have been removed from their backing. As you can see, it has a clear background which makes it easy to used on many different colors.

I like to cut out each design before I place them in water. I remove the plastic cover and place them in the water for a minute to separate the decal and the backing. They just slide right off. I like to use fine tip tweezers to grab them and place them on the nail. They stay a little slippery on the nail, so it is easy to place them exactly where you want. I then take a small piece of paper towel and gently press over the image to absorb the water. I finish my other nails and then gently add a top coat. These are a really simple way to add a lot of detail to your nails. I really loved them over a subtle stamp look. I hope you like them too!
