Work Wear Wednesday: Island Girl Style

It is late on a Wednesday, but today I have another installment of Work Wear Wednesday! I apologize for being absent for so long. I think it is fatigue from working long hours for months, but I hope to be more consistent in the future! This week I decided to switch things up a bit and add an almost neon color. I used an unnamed Island Girl, OPI L.A.M.B., Wet n Wild Matte Top Coat, and Maybelline Bold Gold for stamping and Born Pretty Store Plate BP-19.

Swatch and Review of Island Girl Trio

So a while ago I created a Neon Tribal Print design with these three Island Girl polishes that I received from a good friend (hi Hollie!). I just realized that I never did a full swatch and review for you! I can't believe I didn't realize this earlier because I love these colors! Unfortunately I don't have names of these polishes, but they come in a set and are sold wherever Island Girl is sold- predominately in Hawaii and Las Vegas as far as I know. I did hear from a reader that they are sold in Guam as well. So, for this post I will call them pink, coral and teal.

I have easy lace nails to share with you today! I started with a base color of Essie Chinchilly and added Island Girl (teal from this post, still don't know the name) and created a nice bright/neutral mani. The only tool I used was a dotting tool.

This is my first go at tribal nails, so go easy on me! I received these three Island Girl polishes from my good friend Hollie! She is so sweet! These polishes are only available in ABC Stores in Hawaii and Las Vegas, so I was super excited to receive them! I love these colors, they came in a set and are all neon type polishes, but unfortunately I cannot figure out the names. There isn't a sticker on the bottom or anything, so if you know what colors these are, let me know! I have a coral/orange, a light pink and a teal.

Swatch and Review of Island Girl: Tropical Magic and Tropical Dream

Today I have two special polishes! Island Girl is a brand only sold in ABC Stores in Hawaii and Las Vegas. I was very lucky to have received these several months back and I have only now been able to try them out. I have a deep blue shimmer called Tropical Magic and a baby pink shimmer called Tropical Dream.
