OPI Gwen Stefani Holiday Collection

Don't forget to enter my giveaway! All you need to do is comment in this post before 11:59pm (pacific time) on December 31st!

At first, I wasn't sure if I should share these because I am still expecting one to arrive. I ordered Comet in the Sky online because I cannot find it in stores anywhere! Regardless, I am anxious to share these with you! I've had them for a while now and have already worn them a few times. I have First Class Desires and Christmas Gone Plaid on the blog today! First Class Desires is a deep eggplant with gold shimmer and Christmas Gone Plaid is a beautiful darker green creme.

Here it is with matte top coat:

First Class Desires only needs two coats and has a great formula. I think I saw somewhere that it is a dupe for Zoya Sansa, but I don't have both to compare. It is a really nice take on purple, not too girly but not that almost black color either.

Here it is with matte top coat:

Christmas Gone Plaid is such a beautiful green! I don't have any green cremes like this in my collection, so I was really happy when this came out. It only needs two coats, but if you are careful, maybe only one. The formula is really nice as well.

I was a little disappointed with the holiday collection this year. The reason being that there were five reds. How many reds does one collection really need? Unless it is an entire collection of red polish, I like a little more variety in my life. I do love the glitters, but have had a really hard time finding them locally, but I am excited for Comet in the Sky to arrive from an online order! I'll try to get that swatch up as soon as I can after it comes! What did you think about this collection? I was pretty meh about most of the colors, but these two really struck my fancy. Let me know what you think! Thanks for reading.

  1. Dang, I found Comet in the Sky at TJ Maxx - for $3.99 to boot! I picked up First Class Desires as well, it's so pretty!

  2. Both of these polishes are lovely and your swatches bring out their beauty even more! O.P.I has been down right disappointing this year though, I hope 2015 is a better year for them!

  4. Thank you! Yes, I agree. My last favorite collection was the Euro Centrale Collection which was Spring 2013. It's been a while. I think I have almost all of those colors.
