As you can see from the title, this post is really late! I just missed this one a while ago and never made it up. I had high hopes of doing something atypical for animal print, but I just ran out of good ideas and just did something simple. I started with a base of Pure Ice Darkside, a deep maroon with gorgeous gold shimmer and stamped leopard print on a portion of my thumb, middle and ring fingers. I also added some stripes and called it good.

Nail Art: Fairy Dusted Ferns
Happy Saturday to you all! I hope you are having a relaxing, enjoyable weekend so far. Today I have a simple stamping mani to share. I started with a base of Deborah Lippmann Call me Irresponsible (swatches coming soon) and stamped a fern design from my Konad M83 plate over that with Sinful Colors Enchanted. I couldn't just leave it alone, so I decided to add some China Glaze Fairy Dust to that. It turns out Fairy Dust isn't always the best solution, I felt like it drowned out the stamping in this case, so I added another stamp over the Fairy Dust.

Nail Art: Rose Gold Lace
I hope you all are staying warm in this winter weather! I don't know where all of you are from, but in Oregon we have had a recent bout of winter snow. There isn't much snow on the ground, but it has turned to ice, which makes conditions dangerous. Anyway, I'm freezing my butt off! To take my mind off the cold I decided to do some nail stamping! I told you in my last post that I couldn't wait to add some nail art to this color, I obviously couldn't wait that long!

This is turning out to be one of my favorite stamps! This is a Konad plate M57. Love it so much! I think this looks so pretty! It is just a simple design that looks complicated but the only complicated part is keeping the stamp straight. I think this looks really girly without looking overtly girly and frilly. I really don't like frilly and am not a huge fan of pink, but rose gold and black are definitely my style! Thanks for reading, I hope you like this!

Nail Art: Golden French Tip
I have a little nail art for you today! I liked my last manicure so much I decided to recycle it and add a little extra. The base was OPI: Yodel Me on My Cell, which is a teal leaning blue with some beautiful, subtle blue specks of glitter. For the nail art challenge I am participating in on Instagram (#nailartsep, Host: @Californails, Me: @HandtasticIntentions),day 4 is teal and gold. She chose to include these colors because apparently September is both Childhood and Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and each of those colors corresponds with their cause. I decided to incorporate both into my mani for the nail art challenge.

All I did was stamp one of the tip designs from Konad plate M57 in Maybelline Color Show: Bold Gold and then add a freehand french tip over that. So simple, but it has a strong effect! Someone told me today my nails look like Cleopatra nails, I definitely took that as a compliment! Do you all want me to do an entry on nail stamping tips? I feel like I haven't done a ton of stamping lately. Let me know what you think! Thanks!
