Swatch and Review of Avon Cherry Jubilee and Untamed

Press Sample

Today I have two polishes that were generously provided to me in return for my honest review. Jodi Stevens, an Avon Representative wanted to make sure the products she is selling are up to her high standards and offered some for nail bloggers to review. I was provided Cherry Jubilee, a deep and true red with a darker undertone and Untamed, a taupe brown/grey. Let's start off with Cherry Jubilee:

I have to say, this has a fantastic formula. The consistency is perfect, or at least perfect for me. It is thin enough to spread well, but thick enough to give you really good control. I really loved that most about this polish. I used two coats for the photos above but the color seemed really buildable, so if you wanted a darker look, another coat would do the trick. I can definitely see this being my go to red. Next up is Untamed:

Again, another flawless formula. It spread just as Cherry Jubilee did, but was more opaque. I could have gotten away with one coat, but I like applying two even if one will suffice. I thought this was a great color for work or a great neutral pallet cleanser. I actually don't have anything like it in my collection, it is a great mix of colors and never just looks grey or just looks brown. I think there is a hint of green in it as well that gives it a little ambiguity. I decided to do a bit of nail art with the two as well:

I think these two go together well! I actually loved both of these polishes, the formula is an amazing and no fuss, the colors seem simple at first but have a layer of complexity that is a nice surprise. The only *somewhat* downside to this polish is that it took a while for it to dry on my nails, but that was easily fixed with a fast drying top coat like Seche Vite or my recent favorite HK Girl by Glisten and Glow. I would definitely recommend purchasing this polish! You can buy From Jodi at her Avon shop online here! It sells for $6/each which is a great deal for the quality you get! Hope you enjoyed this post, thanks for reading!
