Nail Art: Simple Lace French Tip

I have easy lace nails to share with you today! I started with a base color of Essie Chinchilly and added Island Girl (teal from this post, still don't know the name) and created a nice bright/neutral mani. The only tool I used was a dotting tool.

Pretty easy! This was a fun girly look that I decided to add to Chinchilly after I had to have work appropriate nails. What do you think? I really like the bright/neutral look, I think I might be doing some neon/neutral looks here soon! Would you all like to see a step by step tutorial? I haven't done one of those in a while, but I'm not sure how much you enjoy those. Thanks for reading!

  1. These are super cute nails especially the combination of colours, do you mind if I have a go at these? As they don't look especially hard to do! :)

  2. Gorgeous! I actually never really thought of using a dotting tool to create a lace effect! It's lovely and I might just have to copy you some day!

  3. I really like this and I would love a tutorial since I'm such a nail art newbie. I like the neutral/bright idea too, makes it easier to get away with more adventurous colors for work without being too out there.
