I have a beautiful collection to share with you today! I have been seeing swatches (Betty's Beauty Bombs and Lavish Layerings) all over of this gorgeous collection and I knew I had to swatch and review these for you as well. Finger Paints Nail Polish is new to the blog. I do own one other, but never posted about it for some reason. It is sitting in my vault of unused photos! I'll have to pull that out again someday, but today I have the entire Masquerade Affair Collection! Finger Paints is only sold at Sally's Beauty Supply, so hopefully you have one near you. The collection features four colors with some vampy tones but also some brightness to it that I didn't expect.
First up, I have Masked Beauty, which is a stunning gold. I know what you are thinking, gold: how inventive. It actually is a unique gold. It has gold flakie glitters in it that are a different tone than the base gold color. Take a close look below and you will see what I mean. It is definitely a beautiful gold and there aren't any similar polishes in my collection. This applied in two coats. It was a tad on the thick side, but I didn't have any application issues at all.
Queen For A Night is a deep dark blue with the same (similar?) flakie glitters throughout. It has such a beautiful tone to it and the glitter adds that extra dimension that makes it a much more interesting polish. Without the glitter, I have about ten dupes in my collection. What can I say, I like dark blue! This has the exact same formula as Masked Beauty. I used two coats and it was a bit thick, but I didn't have any application issues.
Ball Gown Glamour is hands down my favorite from this collection! I love greens and this one does not disappoint. Even though I love green, I surprisingly don't have any true kelly greens in my collection. I would describe this one as a true kelly green that shifts gold toned because of that flakie glitter again. I love it! I think this would be perfect for any University of Oregon Duck fans out there! Now we just need an equivalent orange for the Oregon State Beavers. The formula was the same: two coats, thick but easy to apply.
Dance Til Dawn is another favorite in this collection. It has a bit of a blue/gold toned shift in the bottle, but I haven't noticed the blue on the nail yet. I really love this color though. I am a sucker for purples and with the gold glint from those flakies, I couldn't resist. Again, two coats and a thick but easy application.
This collection is so perfect for fall. I was dying over other swatches I had seen and I was really excited to add these to my collection. I think that they will be for sale at Sally's only through the end of the month depending on stock, so if you love these like I do, you should hurry up! I don't see these online anymore, so it seems in store is your only option now. I hope you enjoyed these! Thanks for stopping by!
